Welcome to the Delta Theta Chapter of AOII
A Letter From the President
Welcome to the Delta Theta Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi, at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. As a sorority based on the ideals of love among our members, we strive to achieve a character of dignity, loyalty, and scholarship. Alpha Omicron Pi is an international women's fraternity that promotes friendship for a lifetime, inspires academic excellence and lifelong learning, while developing leadership skills through service to our chapter and community. We were installed at TWU in 1984 and have been dedicated to enriching the lives of our members and the university around us ever since.
The women of the Delta Theta Chapter take pride in doing their part on campus, being involved in outside organizations and furthering their education. All of our sisters balance a full academic schedule, work schedule, and the responsibilities that come with being a member of AOII. For the past two semesters, we have had the highest GPA on campus out of all the Greek Organizations and we take pride in carrying on that title.
As a Chapter we hold many different events from socials, sisterhoods, and philanthropy events. Socials include mixers with fraternities, and our main formal, Rose Ball that is held in the spring every year. Sisterhoods include retreats, movie nights, cookouts and sleepovers! And we strive to support our philanthropy (Arthritis Research) as much as possible by holding different philanthropy events, with our main event, Strike Out Arthritis, held in March.
As a chapter we encourage leadership and sisterhood and take pride in our members that put their time and effort into making our fraternity grow and exceeded the expectation! As the president of such a prestigious organization, I am honored to represent such amazing women and such an amazing fraternity!
