Alpha Omicron Pi's International Philanthropy is the Arthritis Foundation. Our chapters help raise funds and awareness to support arthritis, juvenile arthritis, and related diseases. Since 1967, over two million dollars has been raised by AOIIs to help researchers find a cure for this debilitating disease that so often targets women and children as its victims. Both collegiate, and alumnae AOIIs have continued to make this impact.
Every year, the Delta Theta chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi collects stuffed pandas and/or money to donate to the children of The Arthritis Foundation. If you would like to donate, please contact Vanessa Vasquez at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Alpha Omicron Pi Goes Blue
Every year, the Delta Theta chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi attends a service event to benefit the greater community. This year in 2016, Delta Theta performed service work at Justin Animal Alliance. Here, we bathed puppies, cleaned cages, fed animals, and did other miscellaneous tasks for the agency. Fortunately, we were able to team up with other members of the Greek Community, Phi Kappa Sigma, to put on a great Service Day!
Strike Out Arthritis
Every year, AOIIs all over the USA and Canada raise awareness and funds for the Arthritis Foundation. Strike Out is our annual event where we invite all of our friends, family and the community to come together and raise money for the Arthritis Foundation by hosting an annual event! Pictured below is the wining team from this year's event! Thank you Paige for having creating an awesome turn out of our dodge-ball Strike Out event!
